However, ensuring a good atmosphere helps. Being cute does, too.

I don't shed, so even allergy sufferers have no excuse. I guess, people who hate cats will just have to deal with me the way I apparently have to deal with them.

I've seen this happen too many times already. 17 year olds will break your heart or crack open your skull.

Human's have a different definition of the concept than cats do.
I've seen human love, I've lived with many humans. That doesn't mean I understand it.

Some people love their pets more than other people, however.

We do appreciate when that happens. Although, I don't know a single animal that wouldn't rather be fed than consumed.

No milk! Cats are lactose-intolerant, we can't actually digest the stuff. Seeing people run around and catching mice for us would be a lot more entertaining.

[Juliet hasn't heard that word before, lacto-something. Maybe it doesn't exist in her time. But she does understand Flea's meaning; that milk is not for cats. ]

Yes, that would be funny to watch but I wouldn't want to be the one running.

I think Milk would be a good name for you because you're pure white. Whoever named you Flea?
